A Few of my Favorite Things

Danielle of Meyrific suggested that I blog about stuff that I like as to inform the interwebs of me. So here I go.

Haikus with no sense and killing Salamence,

Hanging with my friends and stories with no ends,

Even going for a leisurely hike,

These are some things that I kinda do like,

Bands with ampersands & pool at Brunswick Sands,

Math like Calculus and not taking the bus,

Reminiscing to my past saying syke,

These are some things that I kinda do like

When the cops frisk,

When my car's gone,

When I'm not so glad,

I always remember this list I call Ron,

Because my life ain't so bad.

So there, that's a really short list of things I like. I decided while I was about to write it that I'll model it after the Sound of Music song, so I did. Let me explain some of that list a little better now that I'm not restrained by syllable count and rhyming.

I like coming up with random stuff, so haikus are fun to just make up on the spot and I really like the haiku "Haikus are easy/But sometimes they don't make sense/Refrigerator." As I stated in a previous blog I play Shoddy battle from time to time, and Salamence is a pretty strong pokémon to take out in the Standard tier, plus it's name rhymed with sense. The hanging with friends is self-explanatory, but stories with no end, I like telling stories, a lot, but even more-so I like doing stuff that will end in a story; I see my life as a story that doesn't yet have an end. Hiking is fun... I like a variety of bands, but my favorite band is Margot & the Nuclear So and Sos. I also really like ampersands, the only other band I know with an ampersand is Iron & Wine. I'm not saying I exclusively like bands with ampersands and I indiscriminately like bands with ampersands, but it worked for the "song". While I may not be very good a pool, I do enjoy a game with friends, and Brunswick Sands has tables for a dollar a game. I've always loved math, it's always been easy to me, and so I took up to calculus and I want to take more, but 5 units is hard to fit in sometimes. This one was mostly to fit the rhyme, but I've never taken the city bus, and so yeah. I like to reminisce with friends, and I needed syke to rhyme with like, even though I never really said syke. I reminisce often with friends, mostly about shows we watched growing up and that we miss. There was a story involving Matt, Stanley, Bobby and myself, the word "Adventure" was said, cops were involved. My car was stolen in November, I got it back, but yeah... that was fun.

So there is an explanation of the list "Ron". There are plenty more things that I like and dislike, but I think that's a decent amount of stuff about me.
